This species of milkweed grows to 4-Meters tall and produces white or lavender flowers that have a small crown. The Crown flowers are used to make leis especially in Hawaii.
Each tree when fully grown can support hundreds of monarch larvae. The species is not freeze tolerant and must be planted in a large pot and kept indoors during colder months
