Bucida is a genus of flowering plants in the Indian almond family, Combretaceae.
Bucida buceras is an evergreen tree with inconspicuous, small, greenish-yellow flowers. The tree can reach 12-15 m at maturity but grows very slow. The fruit resembles to olive fruit but not edible.
